ExecHealthNotes

Editorial Policy

This page explains how ExecHealth Notes are researched, written and kept up to date, including where AI tools are involved.

Who writes the notes

Every note is published under the name “Editorial Team”. We don’t attach invented bylines, credentials or personas to our articles. Notes are not written or reviewed by doctors, and we don’t present them as medical advice.

How a note is produced

  1. Topic choice. We pick practical questions that busy working adults commonly ask about sleep, stress, heart health, nutrition, fitness, checkups and smoking.
  2. AI-assisted draft. A first draft is generated with an AI writing tool, using instructions that forbid invented statistics, studies, quotes, experts or patient stories, and that rule out product and supplement recommendations.
  3. Fact-check pass. The draft goes through a second, separate review focused on unsupported claims. Specific figures stay only when they are widely published official recommendations, such as general physical activity guidance. Anything we can’t stand behind is removed or softened.
  4. Editorial review. Before publication the note is checked against these standards for accuracy, tone and safety, and every note ends with a “When to see a doctor” section. Published notes are reviewed again whenever a reader reports a problem.

Sources we rely on

We lean on the published, general guidance of major public health organizations such as the World Health Organization, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the UK National Health Service, the US National Institutes of Health, the American Heart Association and Cochrane reviews. When we mention these bodies, we describe their position in general terms. Where they disagree, as they sometimes do on topics like vaping, we say so rather than pick a side for you.

What we won’t publish

  • Miracle cures, detoxes, or promises to diagnose or treat anything.
  • Supplement, pill, device or brand recommendations.
  • Paid placements, sponsored posts or affiliate links.
  • Made-up numbers, studies, quotes, doctors or case stories.
