ExecHealthNotes

About

ExecHealth Notes is an independent health blog for people with full calendars: managers, founders, consultants, lawyers, shift leads, anyone whose work tends to crowd out the basics of looking after themselves.

Each note takes one practical question, such as what your cholesterol numbers mean, whether you can really catch up on lost sleep, or how to fit movement into a desk-heavy day, and answers it in plain English. Every note opens with three key points, so you can get the gist in a minute and return to the detail later.

What we cover

  • Stress and mental health: workload, burnout, anxiety before high-stakes moments.
  • Sleep: sleep debt, travel, late nights and early starts.
  • Heart and checkups: blood pressure, cholesterol, what a routine physical can and can’t tell you.
  • Nutrition and fitness: realistic eating, caffeine, strength training, moving more at work.
  • Smoking and nicotine: quitting options and what public health bodies say, without product recommendations.

How the notes are made

Notes are written by the ExecHealth Notes Editorial Team. Drafts are prepared with the help of AI writing tools and then checked against mainstream public health guidance in a separate fact-checking pass before publication. We don’t invent statistics, studies, quotes or experts, and we don’t sell anything. The full process is on our editorial policy page.
